Case Study

Central Foundation School For Boys

Lewis Ashley Group was approached to provide the hire of a temporary building to act as a decant for the school from 2018 to 2020.

We supplied the school with a 16-bay double storey building, which consisted of three science classrooms on the ground floor and four standard classrooms on the first floor.

Throughout the project, we produced the design, groundworks, build, installation and removal of the building. Our design team worked closely with the schools’ agent, Gardiner & Theobald, to ensure that each component of the building was robust and could withstand the day to day workings of a busy London secondary school.

Due to the location of the school on Cowper Street in Central London, this was a particularly challenging project. This was mainly due to the restrictions on delivering the building to the school. Thanks to our well co-ordinated team of lorry drivers and installers, we started early and managed to deliver the building in a single morning.
